The 2020 Corvette Stingray has been a popular item at Chevrolet dealerships across the country and now the latest order cycle for the car is taking place. The big news this time around is that customers can now place an order for the 2020 Stingray Convertible.
If you’ve been waiting for the Convertible to put your order down on the C8 Corvette, then now’s the time. This is the first time the car has been available for ordering.
There’s no official word yet on when the Corvette Convertible will actually start production and begin to be delivered to customers. According to Corvette Blogger, the first target production week for the model is some time in April, but Chevrolet has not said exactly when. Now that the orders are underway, though, it’s likely only a week or two away from the time that Chevrolet will make a decision on this.
The first few Corvette Convertibles may be subject to quality control holds, according to Corvette Blogger. Chevrolet will likely do this to ensure that quality stays high like it needs to so that Corvette owners don’t complain and the company doesn’t get poor marks. If the previous generation Corvette is any indication as to what quality will be like, we feel confident saying that the C8 Corvette will be a high-quality sports car. Judging by the information we’ve seen and the new materials used, it might even be the most high-quality Corvette ever.
