The 2024 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is a mid-engine sports car available in both coupe and convertible versions. It’s powered by a 6.2-liter naturally aspirated V8 engine, generating 490 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque, paired with an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission. The Stingray sprints from 0 to 60 mph in 2.9 seconds and reaches a top speed of 184 mph.
The Stingray comes in three trims: 1LT, 2LT, and 3LT. The 1LT includes standard features like a 6.5-inch infotainment system, backup camera, and heated/ventilated seats. The 2LT adds a Bose premium sound system, head-up display, and adaptive cruise control, while the 3LT adds navigation, a performance data recorder, and a heated steering wheel.
Optional features include the Z51 performance package, a carbon fiber roof, and a magnetic ride control system. The Z51 package upgrades the suspension, brakes, and includes a larger rear spoiler. The carbon fiber roof reduces weight by 20 pounds, while the magnetic ride control system automatically adjusts suspension stiffness to suit road conditions.
