The Chevrolet C4 Corvette packs an L98 5.7-liter small block Chevy V8 engine, producing 245 horsepower and 340 lb-ft of torque. Paired with a four-speed manual transmission, this old-school American muscle still has some serious grunt.
On the other hand, the BMW M6, part of the E24 generation of 6 Series, features a race-bred S38 3.5-liter inline-six engine. With 256 horsepower and over 240 lb-ft of torque, the M6’s engine was developed from BMW’s legendary M1 supercar and is paired with a five-speed manual transmission.
