FOR SALE: 2022 Corvette Stingray IMSA GTLM Championship Edition

In June 2021General Motors introduced the 2022 Corvette Stingray IMSA GTLM Championship Edition, a special edition Corvette which commemorates the Corvette C8.R and its 2020 IMSA WeatherTech racing series championship.  The car made its public debut at Belle Isle in Detroit.  These special edition Corvettes were developed using styling cues from the Corvette C8.R race cars.  They include an extensive list of aesthetic upgrades over the base model C8 Corvette and was only available to order in either Accelerate Yellow Metallic or Hypersonic Gray Metallic. Models ordered in Accelerate Yellow receive gray contrasting graphics, while Hypersonic Gray Metallic models have yellow graphics.

In addition to the custom paint and graphics, each of the IMSA GTLM Championship Edition Corvettes (sometimes referred to as Corvette C8.R Special Edition) will come equipped with yellow brake calipers, Trident Alloy wheels with a black finish and Jake logo center caps, Carbon Flash exterior mirrors, black side rockers and splash guards.  It will also come equipped with a large “C8.R” decal on its rear quarter panels just behind the doors.  Likewise, the interior will feature several unique upgrades including Strike Yellow and Sky Cool Gray upholstery laid on top of standard GT2 seats, yellow seatbelts, and a unique C8.R Special Edition numbered plaque.  Competition Sport Bucket seats are also available.

This Special Edition Corvette were targeted at customers who are fans of the Corvette Racing program, many of whom follow the team across the country, often flying out to each race to watch them in person. Only 1,000 examples of this special edition Corvette were made.

Bring A Trailer is now offering a low mileage example of the 2022 Corvette Stingray IMSA GTLM Championship Edition that has only 437 actual miles on its odometer. The car is finished in Accelerate Yellow with matching Sky Cool Gray leather interior. Power is derived from a mid-mounted LT2 6.2-liter V8 that was rated at 495 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque.

Being limited special edition Corvette, it comes with a host of factory specifications that includes the Z51 Performance Package, 19″ and 20″ wheels, a removable roof panel, Carbon Flash exterior accents, a performance exhaust, a performance data and video recorder, heated and ventilated seats, a heated steering wheel, navigation, and a 14-speaker Bose Performance Series audio system.

This special edition Corvette is car number 151 of 1,000 produced so bid now before the auction closes after five days!
