Here is one of the latest Corvette’s for sale on BringATrailer right now. This feature is a 1962 Chevrolet Corvette that was originally delivered to John Geer Chevrolet located in Sacramento California.
This car comes powered by a 327ci V8 with a power output of 340 horsepower and matched to a four-speed transmission.
The seller reports that this Corvette was finished in Sateen Silver over red vinyl and was refurbished by Corvette Perfection Ltd. of Hartland, Wisconsin in 2012. Since taking ownership of this car in 2013, the owner has had a long list of maintenance items performed to ensure the car is in top condition. The most recent maintenance took place in late 2020 starting with the water pump and the installation of a rebuilt AC fuel pump.
This ‘63 Corvette has had the engine resealed, lifters adjusted, electric ignition installed, and rebuilt the four-speed transmission. It also comes with a new Centerforce clutch, new shift linkage, and recent differential service.
This car received an NCRS Top Flight award in 2015, which can attest to the quality of the refurbishment in 2012. Which will be one of the pieces of literature that will be included in the sale.
This is a fine example of a stock 1963 C1 as seen from over 200 photos on the listing along with numerous videos – it sounds just as good as it looks.
