Chevrolet Adds Zora to the C8’s Windshield

A Small Change, but Notable

Recently, some new C8 Corvette’s arrived at Kerbeck Corvette in Atlantic City. The folks at the dealership realized pretty quickly that some of the C8s that were delivered were just a little bit different than the ones that had come in before. The cars now featured a small silhouette of Zora Duntov on the windshield. 

Members of the dealership sent some images to Corvette Blogger. They also sent along the following note about the images:

“Two of our cars had these additions to the windshield. On the passenger side, lower corner, is a silhouette of Zora Duntov which has to be one of the coolest things I’ve seen on this new car! On the driver side, lower corner, etched into the tint are a set of crossed flags and the words Team Corvette!”

The silhouette of Zora Duntov isn’t a new image. It has been seen before. What’s new is the fact that it’s placed on these new cars. According to Dave Salvatore of Kerbeck Corvette, the new windshield element appears on the highest VIN cars the dealership has received yet. That would suggest the windshields will have this small design element from here on out.
