The Z06 Is Here
We reported not long ago that the C8 Z06 (and maybe ZR1) Corvettes for the 2022 model year were spotted testing in Colorado. Now, we’re seeing some video.
A member from the Facebook group C8 Corvette Owners (and Friends) shared a couple of videos. One of the videos is included below. It was also shared by Corvette Blogger.
In the video, you can see a cloaked and camouflaged C8 Corvette with a central exhaust. The video is short and you can’t really see much clearly other than the central exhaust, but it’s clear that this must be the Z06.
While the details are still hidden from view, it’s good to know that Chevrolet keeps testing these cars out in Colorado. We would expect there will be many more sightings in the next couple of days and weeks.
While there’s no official word yet from Chevrolet as to when these cars will come out, we’d expect them not to come until 2022. That means you’ll see a whole lot of teasers and testers spotted out and about in 2021.
You can watch the short video below to see the central exhaust, though there’s not much else you can easily see.
Here's the 2nd prototype C8 Vette we saw this morning. I belive he was sitting waiting for computer or diagnostic system/something to reset before he pulled off again. Great music from the mid exhaust, though. Most likely a ZR/Z06 or Grand Sport, because base models would likely be dual exhaust. 2nd post today, I feel special. Thanks for the good feedback guys.
