A tip whispered in our ears here at Corvsport told of a pristine condition, 900 original miles 1995 Corvette C4 ZR-1 being sold at an online auction.
“Surely,” we said, “we would have heard about it before now?”
Apparently, we had not, and it was sold on February 4, 2020, for a tidy $44,500.
Finished in arctic white with torch red interior, the car only had one option specified, the removable glass roof package, on top of the full ZR1 special performance package.
Standard on the 1995 ZR-1 was the 5.7 liter 32 valve quad cam LT5 V8 with 405 HP, full A/C package, Delco Bose stereo with both a cassette and CD player (!!!), 5 spoke aluminum wheels, and 6 way driver and passenger powered seats.
The original lot listing is still available at BringATrailer, and has nearly 100 detailed photos of the car including the original window sticker, preserved in the original purchase binder.
