C6 Corvette Production Figures

The C6 Corvette generation was produced from 2005 to 2013 model years (actual production ran from June 2004–February 28, 2013). Production variants included the Z06, ZR1, Grand Sport, and 427 Convertible. Racing variants include the C6.R, an American Le Mans Series GT1 championship and 24 Hours of Le Mans GTE-Pro winner. In all, there were 215,223 C6 Corvettes produced.

The C6 started selling really well, the new body style as well as fixed headlights design proving popular with enthusiasts. In its first and second year, a total of 37,372 and 34,021 units were produced respectively. 2007 was a screamer of a year in terms and the peak year for C6 Corvette sales with 40,561 units produced. 2008 saw the LS3 introduced with new Tremec transmission as well as updates to the steering and exhaust and interior updates and sales came in at 35,310. The financial crisis impacted the rest of the C6s production and sales, with 2009 through 2013 seeing less than 16,000 units moved each year. Turns out during a recession people don’t buy sports cars.
