Here’s Another Look at the Cabin
We’ve reported on leaked interior shots of the C8 Corvette before, but now there are new shots that have appeared and are circulating around on the Web. With all of the exterior shots out there, it’s nice to be able to show a new view of the C8 Corvette.
According to Autoblog, spy photographers were able to snap the images in the tweet below. As you can see, it’s a shot of the steering wheel and the instrument cluster. There is a two-spoke and somewhat squared-off steering wheel. There are some interesting things on the instrument cluster, too, including a G-Force indicator and a large rev counter in the center of the gauge cluster.
The tester has tape over the center of the steering wheel and on the top of the steering wheel. The tape in the center is likely to cover up the Corvette logo, though we already know what that looks like. The tape at the top of the steering wheel is interesting. It either covers up a band of material at the top of the steering wheel as is common for high-performance machines, or there’s some other logo that Chevy didn’t want to be seen.

From what we can see here, the C8 Corvette seems to have some fantastic materials. The leather and hard surface materials appear to be top quality. There’s red contrast stitching on the steering wheel, too. the dash is obscured by some type of camouflaging material.
One thing we hate to admit but have to point out is that the car’s check engine light is on. At least this shows where the C8’s various engine lights will be (on the right side of the instrument cluster). With all of the issues reported in the news lately, this is the last thing we wanted to see. Chevy likely still has a little work to do on the model before it debuts, which should come soon.
