But Can It Be Trusted?
A member of Corvette Forum recently posted what he claims is the C8 Corvette’s order sheet. While some publications, like Carscoops, point out the fact that this could be a fake, it looks pretty legit to us. With that said, there’s only one engine choice, and we were under the impression there would be a standard engine and an upgraded version.
According to the order sheet, the engine is a 6.2-liter V8, speculation puts the power output at more than 500 hp. The only transmission option is an 8-speed dual-clutch, which is no big surprise. There are two rear axle ratios to choose from—3.62 and a 3.80. You can get the standard suspension, upgrades Z51 Performance suspension, or Z51 Magnetic Selective Ride Control.
Additional choices include two different choices for tires, four different wheel choices, two seat options, two different brakes packages, what looks like four different brake caliper color choices, and 12 different color options with four different roof color combo options.
While everything looks right on the money, there’s still no official confirmation from Chevrolet. Also, the price of the car is missing from any of the shots, which bums us out considerably. Still, if you want to get an idea of the kind of options you’ll have to choose from on your 2020 Corvette, then this is the best thing at the moment.
