A New Look for the Car’s 13th Year
Callaway Competition will run its Corvette C7 GT3-R in this year’s ADAC GT Masters again. While the car won’t change, the racing livery will. After three years of the same look, the car gets a new one for 2019. The Leingarten-based racing outfit showed off the car’s new exterior recently.
The choice to continue competing with the Corvette C7 GT3-R isn’t much of a shocker. Callaway Competition has won nine times with the car since making its ADAC GT Masters debut. This will be the car’s 13th year competing. The ADAC GT Masters racing competition for 2019 will begin at the Motorsport Arena Oschersleben in April. The team’s boss Mike Gramke sounded excited to get this year started.
We’re looking forward to the new season in the ADAC GT Masters. For the past three years, we have been in contention for the title, and that will once again be our aim in 2019. As we enter our 13th season in the ADAC GT Masters, we will have a strong driver pairing, but we won’t be announcing who they are until March.
According to ADAC Motorsport, the 2019 Callaway Competition Corvette C7 GT3-R that will be racing will be on show at Corvette dealer Kramm in Berlin. That means spectators can come into the dealer and see the car up close. That is, you can see it if you’re in Berlin, Germany. Otherwise, you’ll have to enjoy the car in the photo above or wait to see it compete in April.
