FOR SALE: 1963 Chevrolet Corvette Split-Window Coupe 327/300

An award-winning 1963 Split Window Coupe

The 1963 Chevrolet Corvette Sting Ray revolutionized America’s Sports Car with bold styling and exceptional performance. Marking a milestone in its 10-year history, the Corvette lineup introduced a coupe body for the first time, distinguished by its now-iconic split rear window—a design element exclusive to this model year before being replaced by a single-piece rear window for the remainder of the second generation.

Up for grabs on Bring A Trailer, this 1963 Chevrolet Corvette Split-Window Coupe has received prestigious awards, including Bloomington Gold Certification, an NCRS Top Flight Award, and Triple Diamond Certification after it was refurbished. It was originally sold through Curry Chevrolet in Hempstead, New York. It remained with its first owner until 1970 when it was acquired by an employee who kept it for over 50 years.

Originally finished in Saddle Tan (932), this Corvette was repainted during its restoration. It features flip-up headlights, fender vents, quad tail lamps, chrome bumperettes, and dual exhaust tips integrated into the rear valance. The 15” silver steel wheels are fitted with knock-off spinner-style hubcaps and Goodyear thin whitewall tires. It also includes power steering and four-wheel power-assisted drum brakes.

Inside, the refreshed Saddle vinyl interior includes bucket seats, color-matched door panels, replacement carpets, an AM radio, a heater, an analog clock, and lap belts. Power comes from a 327ci L75 V8, factory-rated at 300 horsepower, paired with a two-speed Powerglide automatic transmission sending power to the rear wheels.
