Pratt & Miller Engineering, GM’s factory-sanctioned racing partner, built just 11 examples of the Corvette C6RS, aiming to create a “Corvette supercar” that combined extreme performance with exceptional comfort and reliability. This example now for sale on Bring A Trailer was the personal car of Gary Pratt for nearly a decade and remains the only one of the 11 fitted with a supercharged 427ci V8.
Constructed with a carbon-fiber body—excluding the roof, decklid, and doors—the C6RS is based on the 2008 Z06 chassis but features a 1.6-inch wider stance and C6.R race-inspired aerodynamics. These include a front splitter, fender vents, active rear spoiler, and rear diffuser, all finished in striking yellow.
Under the hood, the Thompson Automotive-built LS9-RS engine, a supercharged 427ci LS7-based V8, produces 602 horsepower and 615 lb-ft of torque. Key upgrades include an Eaton four-lobe supercharger, custom camshaft, forged pistons, and modified Z06 heads. Power is delivered through a Tremec T56 six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential.
A computer-controlled Arvin Meritor DHC air ride suspension and Pratt & Miller-tuned shocks provide adjustable ride height, while the Brembo Gran Turismo (GT) braking system features six-piston front and four-piston rear calipers over large steel rotors. The black chrome BBS center-lock wheels are wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport tires.
Inside, the car is appointed with hand-stitched black and tan leather, carbon-fiber trim, a Pioneer touchscreen, and a short-throw shifter. With 14,000 miles on the odometer, it is offered with service records, dyno results, and a clean Florida title.
A true one-of-one, this supercharged C6RS is the only Pratt & Miller-built example of its kind, making it an exceptionally rare addition to any Corvette collection.
