For 35 years, Callaway and the Chevrolet Corvette have forged a legendary bond in performance car engineering. Callaway Cars originated in the 1970s when Reeves Callaway, an amateur racer and driving instructor, sought more power for his BMW 320i. This engineering passion evolved into Callaway Cars, headquartered in Old Lyme, Connecticut.
The company rose to prominence in the 1980s by specializing in Chevrolet Corvette enhancements. The 35th Anniversary Callaway Corvette celebrates this enduring partnership. Marking 35 years of Corvette upgrades, the package features exclusive carbon fiber aerodynamics, a Callaway Double-D exhaust, OZ Racing forged wheels, commemorative badging, and bespoke interior updates.
Currently listed on Bring A Trailer, this example, is number 12 of just 35 Callaway B2K 35th Anniversary Edition models produced. This 2022 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray convertible is finished in Torch Red and features Callaway badges, a carbon-fiber front splitter, rocker panel extensions, a rear spoiler, and a diffuser as part of the B2K package.
The car rides on black Chrome 19″ and 20″ Callaway forged wheels fitted with Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S tires and features a front suspension lift system and Magnetic Selective Ride Control. The Z51 Performance Package adds a revised suspension, while yellow Z51-branded Brembo brake calipers provide stopping power.
Inside, heated and ventilated power-adjustable Competition Sport bucket seats are upholstered in Natural-Dipped leather, complemented by Callaway-branded sill and pedal plates. Features include a head-up display, rear cross-traffic alert, blind-spot monitoring, an 8″ touchscreen infotainment system with navigation, carbon-fiber interior trim, Keyless Entry, a 14-speaker Bose sound system, dual-zone automatic climate control, and cruise control.
The mid-mounted 6.2-liter LT2 V8 produces 495 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque, delivered to the rear wheels via a Tremec eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transaxle and an electronically controlled limited-slip differential. The Z51 package includes a heavy-duty cooling system, while a Callaway exhaust system with satin black tips completes the setup.
