The Karvajal ZX1, with only three units produced, was first showcased at the 2009 New York Auto Show. This unique model features an 11-inch wider stance and an 80% carbon fiber body, including rear diffusers, while maintaining a C3 notchback roofline with headrest fairings.
The ZX1 boasts shaved door handles with remote openers, a 6.0L LS2 V8 engine producing 617 HP at 6,600 RPM and 560 lb-ft of torque at 4,100 RPM, and comes with a GM Powertrain 6-speed manual transaxle and a Karvajal Designs short-throw shifter, featuring a 2.56:1 final drive ratio.
The interior is fitted with Light Tan Caravaggio premium leather, Alcantara headliner, dash, and trim, a D-shaped steering wheel, custom Karvajal carpeting, and premium wool floor mats with saddle leather heel inserts.
