By 1982, the Corvette had evolved into a striking vehicle, characterized by its exaggerated spoilers, wings, and side skirts. Its pronounced Coke bottle shape was a bold stylistic statement. As the final year of the third generation, the 1982 model introduced several new features, though it often remains overshadowed by its predecessors.
But this particular 1982 Corvette that was recently listed for sale on Facebook Marketplace takes things up a bit with its dramatically extended nose and wild look!
According to the seller, the car’s front end was lengthened by approximately two feet using components from another C3 Corvette. Custom-made fenders and a hood were also installed. The car’s origins and the identity of the customizer are unknown, but it is believed to have been built in Miami.
Despite its unique appearance, the Corvette is reported to be in excellent condition. It has undergone extensive mechanical and cosmetic restorations within the past year, including a complete brake overhaul, new suspension components, engine tune-up, updated lighting, a new steering wheel, fuel pump, and tires.
