This GM concept show car, produced in 1998, was a collaborative effort between General Motors designers and engineers at the GM Tech Center and the GM X-plorer Scouts program, an initiative of the Boy Scouts of America aimed at educating young people about automotive careers. It is powered by a modified 5.7L LS1 V-8 engine mated to a 6-speed manual transmission.
A black base coat is the canvas for a mesmerizing flame design, achieved using a special blend of DuPont paints with unique pearl finishes. The engine enhancements include a modified airbox, plenum, and MAF sensor, along with chrome-plated components.
