I’m on all the notable Corvette forums and social media pages all day, every day, and I’ve done the legwork for you. Here are some compelling stories from the Corvette community, with concise, straight-to-the-point summaries for your busy lifestyle.
1) The Accolades For the Revolutionary C8 Keep Rolling In
Today, we have two notable accolades to report on. First, a member of the popular Facebook page C8 Corvette Owners (And Friends) proudly posted these recent C8 accolades as soon as they came off the presses of Consumer Reports. After posting pictures of his April 2024 edition of the magazine, he went on to add, “I can’t wait for all the Karen responses. I love mine.” Taunting aside, these are some impressive scores and rankings for our beloved Corvette!

2) C8 Production Has Slowed Over The Last Two Weeks
When we last left off, C8 production had hit a mini-milestone, with total units surpassing 20,000. On our last production update, the dedicated workers at the Bowling Green Assembly Plant were on a roll with the number of days they had cranked out over 200 units, but things have slowed. We haven’t seen any reporting on the reasons for the slowdown, and will report in the next News Recap if we hear anything.
The 200 Club Recap:
- 1/26 to 3/07: Seventeen 200+ days, with a new all-time daily record of 259 C8s on February 19th!
- 3/08 to 3/21: Only ONE day with over 200 units produced (3/15)
