To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Corvette’s debut at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1960, Chevrolet introduced the 2011 Z06 Carbon Limited Edition. Revered by Corvette enthusiasts for its naturally aspirated 7.0L LS7 OHV V-8 engine producing 505 HP and 470 lb-ft of torque, the Z06 served as the perfect foundation for the new commemorative Corvette.
Filling the space between the Z06 and ZR1 models, the special-edition Z06 Carbon Edition incorporated features such as 15-inch carbon ceramic brakes, driver-adjustable magnetorheological shocks, black 19-inch front and 20-inch rear wheels, and Michelin Pilot PS2 tires from the ZR1.
Additional features included a carbon-pattern engine cover, black accents on the headlights and outside mirrors, carbon-fiber ZR1 rocker extensions, a carbon-fiber ZR1 front splitter, and race-numbered door decals. The exterior updates were rounded off with a raised carbon-fiber hood, reminiscent of the ZR1’s, a raised carbon roof panel, and a body-color, full-width rear spoiler.

It was originally delivered to Superior Chevrolet of Shawnee Mission, Kansas. It remained in a collection until it was acquired by the current owner in 2023.
Powered by a 7.0-liter LS7 V8 engine mated to a six-speed manual gearbox, the car boasts a Supersonic Blue exterior complemented by Ebony and gray leather and microsuede upholstery with blue stitching. Notable features include the CFZ Carbon Package, a limited-slip differential, 19″ and 20″ multi-spoke alloy wheels, ceramic-composite brakes, xenon headlights, a Bose sound system, a head-up display, power-adjustable seats, and Keyless Access.
