This 1969 Chevrolet Corvette coupe was converted for racing purposes more than 25 years ago, taking inspiration from the 1968 L88 RED/NART car that participated in the 1973 24 Hours of Le Mans. The car showcases a striking red exterior with NART-style livery, complemented by a race-ready interior. Its power derives from a modified 427ci V8 engine, mated to an M22 four-speed manual transmission and a 3.55:1 rear differential.
The Corvette is equipped with a range of features, including Torq Thrust–style 15″ wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, a side-exit exhaust system, a front spoiler, a removable hardtop, adjustable front coilovers, a fuel cell, an MSD ignition system, and a roll cage. Additionally, it boasts a fire-suppression system, a Hurst shifter, and a Kirkey Racing seat complete with a four-point harness for enhanced safety and performance.
