In 2010, Chevrolet reintroduced Torch Red, and the Lingenfelter Collection’s Corvette ZR1 took it up a notch with their engineering expertise. The 6.2L LS9 V-8 received Lingenfelter upgrades, including a high-flow supercharger air intake, a cast aluminum supercharger front cover assembly, and a 2.60-ratio pulley. These modifications resulted in 710 HP and 680 lb-ft of torque, maintaining factory drivability and fuel efficiency.
Complementing this power are custom long-tube headers and a tuned exhaust system. Chevrolet improved the transmission with launch control and performance traction management. Carbon-ceramic disc brakes enhance stopping power. The ZR1’s hood features a clear intercooler window and a carbon-fiber front splitter, both accented in Torch Red. Magnetic ride control ensures excellent handling.
Inside, black leather seats with ZR1-embroidered headrests offer comfort and support. The leather-wrapped steering wheel and shifter, power features, cruise control, and dual-zone climate control provide convenience.
