FOR SALE: 1966 Chevrolet Corvette Restomod Coupe

Live on Bring A Trailer is a stunning 1966 Chevrolet Corvette restomod.

This 1966 Chevrolet Corvette coupe underwent an extensive multi-year transformation at Kevin’s Restoration in Walnut Grove, Washington, with total receipts amounting to over $454,000.

Originally finished in Silverstone Silver, the car received a striking makeover during the refurbishment, now adorned in a metallic amber orange hue with a gray stinger section. The brightwork was meticulously re-chromed or replaced, complementing the car’s appearance. Notable exterior features include split bumpers, flip-up headlights, a lower front splitter, Allen’s side pipes with chrome covers, and aftermarket side mirrors.

Riding on forged 19-inch and 20-inch Kompression wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+ tires, this Corvette sits on a C7 chassis equipped with Hyperco coilover springs, QA1 adjustable shocks, and a Flaming River power steering rack. Braking duties are handled by C7 calipers, slotted rotors, and a Wilwood master cylinder.

Inside the cabin, C5-sourced bolstered bucket seats upholstered in brown leather offer comfort and style. The dashboard and rear trim panels are color-coordinated to match the seats. Notable interior features include Vintage Air climate control, a custom center console with cupholders, square weave carpeting, a White Lightning shifter, an engine start button, power windows, an Alpine infotainment unit, and Focal cabin speakers.

The billet aluminum steering wheel, wrapped in leather, sits before replacement instrumentation comprising a 160-mph speedometer, tachometer, and gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, battery voltage, and oil pressure.

Powering this machine is a fuel-injected 6.2-liter LS3 V8 engine. Adorned with a custom-painted cover, the engine is further enhanced with tubular exhaust headers and a custom Dewitt’s aluminum radiator featuring electric fans. Additionally, a stainless steel fuel tank and replacement fuel pump were installed. The LS3 V8 is mated to a Tremec T56 six-speed manual transmission featuring an LS7 clutch disc, pressure plate, and flywheel, delivering power to the rear wheels.
