Inevitably, I know this will become a popularity contest, but the results will still be interesting. And any chance I get to engage with you all is a bonus, because without you and your passion for the Corvette, WE would not exist, and for that matter, the Corvette would not continue to exist.
I will select 8 reader submissions, one from each generation (if possible), and include them in the results article next Friday, July 21st. It is not required, but if you include a picture along with your vote, I will publish it for our thousands of readers to see! So, not only can your voice be heard, but you can be published and “semi-famous”. 🙂
What are the metrics?
- Is it the generation that provides the best bang for the buck right now?
- Is it the one that sold the most? Well that’s not fair to all the other generations, given that GM milked the C3 for 15 years
- Is it purely subjective? Perhaps it was your first, or one that brings back nostalgic memories of simpler times?
- Are you purely objective, with easy-to-calculate performance and handling numbers used to justify your pick?
- Or is it really as simple as what you own now, a popularity contest?
It really doesn’t matter what method or methods you use, just that you vote! What sparked this poll was a feature that popped up in my Facebook feed the other day, where Hagerty last year determined the C7 and C6 generations were tied for the best/most popular generations. It was simply the opinions of a handful of their staff/writers, so frankly kind of lame.

2) Join us on our Facebook page, and find this post. Use this method if you want to engage with other enthusiasts and share your Corvette for our readers to see, although we do have numerous posts on our page per day, so it may take you a while to find this post.
When Voting, Please Provide This Information
1) Why you picked the generation you did,
2) Include a picture of your Corvette (if you have one, and it doesn’t have to be the same as your vote),
3) Give me your first name and last name initial.
