This 2007 Chevrolet Corvette convertible is one of the limited Indy 500 Pace Car Edition models produced for that particular model year. This specific Corvette holds the number 53 out of the 500 examples. The initial 57 units were utilized as “track” and “festival committee” vehicles during the 91st running of the Indianapolis 500.
All the 2007 Pace Car Edition models boasted a striking Atomic Orange Metallic (83) exterior finish adorned with gold ribbon graphics, Indy 500 decals, cloisonné fender badges, body-color door handles, and a Z06 rear spoiler that featured an integrated brake light.
Under the hood, these special Corvettes were powered by the standard LS2 small-block V-8 engine, which came from the factory with a rating of 400 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque.
