We are so close to finishing, and the attention to detail from Scot on this build has been amazing (and inspiring) to witness. We begin today with an interesting twist. Last week I showed you the interior with a racing seat, which seems logical given this is a track car build. But not so quickly, as Scot picked up these and remarks “Hopefully I can get these to fit. Full power on both seats. I’m going to try and make it so when at the track I can use the race seat, but for around town I can install the c5 seat.”
Looks good to me, and how cool that we have (at least) three generations represented in this unique build. Now on to finishing more projects in the interior.

Scot has vacillated on various ideas for the exhaust routing and ended up with this cool idea. Now he’s got to get busy with some fabrication and welding.
An enthusiastic progress report as we finish up today’s episode.
“Finally got the clutch bleed and drove the car out of the garage and down the driveway. What a great feeling! I need to finish installing the seats, finish the welding on the exhaust and a few other minor things. Take it to the alignment rack, do an amazing car wash and should be ready for the road… Want to go to Gingerman raceway for opening weekend and test the car to see what changes may need to be made.”
