Corvette Of The Day: 1965 Chevrolet Corvette Custom Coupe

This 1965 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe has been customized from the ground up, with a custom-built chassis using Art Morrison and C5 Corvette components, including front and independent rear suspension with competition-grade coilover shocks. It boasts a 6.0L GM LS2 all-aluminum crate engine under the hood, delivering power through a GM 4L60E automatic transmission.

The PPG Jet Black exterior finish features multilayer clearcoat and ceramic protective coating, while the custom red interior boasts Al Knoch trim, Vintage Air, AutoMeter gauges and clock, 2 Go keyless pushbutton start, power windows and vent windows, and a red leather-wrapped steering wheel. Hotronics provided a quick-flip battery disconnect, and the car also features power steering.

The ‘Vette has been modified with a California three-tail light custom treatment, and it showcases chrome bumpers and trim along with Schott Velocity performance wheels. The car rides on Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 extreme-performance tires, measuring 275/40-ZR17 front and 335/30-ZR17 rear, for optimum road contact.
