I feel like we are turning the corner and will start to witness some exponential progress. Overall Scot describes this build as “wild but controlled”, and based on what we’ve seen so far I agree. On the docket for today is the installation of that beautiful LS1 engine and 6-speed ZF6 manual transmission, but not so quick as some motor mount fabrication is in order. This certainly isn’t a machine you see in most enthusiasts’ shops.
Here is the LS1 with a new Fidanza aluminum flywheel, new pilot bearing, a Mcleod clutch and pressure plate, with ARP bolts.
Without further delay, let’s get that engine and transmission mated up!

Wow, Scot, all those components together look beautiful, and what a transformation with that frame. Well, how’s that for exponential progress? The climax sure felt like it came a bit soon, but not to worry as Scot is still getting after it.
The American Racing Headers, NGK plugs, MSD wires, intake manifold, and fuel injection system are on, what a cool system from FiTech.
Now, how about slapping on that throttle body, fuel injectors, and fuel rails!
It’s coming together beautifully, with the front pulley assembly installed, along with the wiring for the engine management system.
