Corvettes graced the track at the 2024 HSR Spring Fling, hosted in Florida at the renowned Sebring International Raceway.
The Spring Fling racing festivities kicked off on Friday afternoon with the highly anticipated Sasco Sports International/American Challenge race.
This Sasco Sports sprint puts a spotlight on vintage production cars, pitting American powerhouses such as Camaros, Corvettes, and Mustangs against a diverse lineup of European sports cars. The field includes Porsches, BMWs, a Ferrari 308 GTB, and an array of British classics like Jaguars, an MGB, Lotus Elan, Elva Courier, Morgan 4/4, and two Ginetta G4s. This thrilling race not only seeks an overall winner but also awards the top three finishers in the International, American, and Porsche categories.
Another highlight of the weekend is the HSR Global GT sprint, which features modern yet retired GT racing cars. This event showcases a varied lineup, including an Oldsmobile Cutlass GT car, Ferrari 360s, and a Callaway Corvette, challenging an impressive selection of Porsches ranging from the 996 and 997 to the Caymans, as well as the more recent 991 and 991.2 models.
