Based on the C8 Corvette Z06, the Z06 GT3.R was developed to succeed the C8.R in IMSA competition from the 2024 season onwards. While it shares the design of the 2023 Corvette Z06 and retains a 5.5L engine like its production counterpart, the GT3.R is not intended for street use. Outfitted with racing-specific components, it adheres to FIA regulations and is primed to excel in various racing series, promising to outperform the competition.
The 2024 Corvette Z06 GT3.R features the aforementioned 5.5L mid-engine configuration, with horsepower outputs tailored to different engine setups, estimated between 500-600 horsepower. It includes a 6-speed sequential motorsport transaxle and rides on motorsports-specific double-wishbone suspension optimized for lower ride heights.
