Today, we have an epic race between two American icons: Corvette and the Ford GT. These cars have etched their names in the automotive industry and will forever have a special place in the hearts of many car enthusiasts around the globe.
The new Corvette Z06 comes with a 5.5L naturally aspirated V8 engine producing 670 hp and 460 lb. ft. of torque. It’s a European-inspired supercar but with a more affordable price tag. On one side, is an American sports car that honors Ford’s achievements by beating out the Europeans back in the 1960s: the 2020 Ford GT Carbon Series. The outgoing Ford GT is a beast on its own right. It comes with a 3.5L twin-turbo V6 which puts down 660 hp and 550 lb. ft. of torque.
