2011 Corvette Production Volumes
The recession continued to impact Corvette production in 2011. A total of only 13,596 Corvettes rolled off the end of the assembly line for the 2011 production model year. While that was slightly up from 2010s 12,194 units we would hardly call it a compelling recovery.
2011 Production Volume by Model Variant
The Grand Sport Coupe was the most popular model at 5,212 units (38.3%) while the regular Corvette Coupe was second at 3,112 units (22.9%). The base Convertible was the least popular Corvette sold with just 780 units making up 5.7% of production. The Z06 outsold the ZR1, with 904 Z06s made versus the ZR1s 806 units.
