The Corvette Competition was launched to celebrate the 56th edition of the legendary Sebring Twelve Hours in 2008. This limited-edition model was built using a C6 coupe and borrows inspiration from motor sport too, in which the Corvette has been successful.
It has the same 6.2L LS3 V8 engine and six-speed manual gearbox shared with the C6 coupe but features some appearance upgrades. It has unique dark grey alloy wheels, dual twin exhaust pipes, honeycomb grille, and the rear spoiler from the Z06. The Competition coupe was only offered in black.
