1973 Corvette Production Numbers

The sales numbers for the 1973 model year actually improved over previous years.  In all, Chevrolet sold 30,464 Corvettes in 1973, another strong growth year. This strong production growth came on the back of price increases, with a base coupe selling for $5,561.50 and a convertible selling for $5,398.50.

1973 Production Volumes by Model Variant

The writing was on the wall for the convertible as the coupe continued to grow its share of total Corvette production volume. In 1973 a total of 25,521 coupes were made (84% of all cars produced) while only 4,943 convertible units were made (16% of all cars produced).
