1964 Corvette Production Volumes

The 1964 Corvette Stingray coupe lost it’s split window but that didn’t slow down demand for the C2 Corvette. The C2 continued its strong sales run and 1964 saw 22,229 units produced. Several other small design tweaks were made in 1964 thanks to customer feedback after the 1963 model year. GM was hesitant to mess with a formula that was clearly working.

Of the cars produced, 8,304 were coupes (37.36% of all cars produced) and 13,925 were convertibles (62.64% of all cars produced).
