1963 Split Window Heaven: One Of Every Color Produced Up For Auction Soon

Check out this collection of seven Split Window Coupes, so beautiful you'll think you're in heaven!

A rare collection of 1963 Split-Windows/Image Credit: Mecum

The irony about this special Corvette is that it was revised after just one year, due to the very window it’s now described and recognized by, and it is now one of the most coveted Corvettes for collectors and enthusiasts alike. With just 10,594 Split Window Coupes built 60 years ago, it’s becoming harder and harder to find show-quality examples for sale, which makes this collection of seven even more amazing.

After you check out the collection, let us know which one is your favorite color. More importantly, what do you think about the Mecum sales estimate for each example? We have the fastest-growing Corvette community on our Facebook page, with over 165,000 followers (46,000 since January!). Come join other hardcore enthusiasts and say hello, Douglas B.

Now, without further ado, here are the seven 1963 Coupes that Mecum is dubbing “The Split Window Colorama Collection.” The unique collection is set to hit the auction block on Friday, January 12th, while the Mecum Kissimmee event runs from January 2nd to the 14th.
