Corvette Of The Day: 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Callaway SC757

In 2015, the Corvette entered its second year of the seventh generation, bringing back the revered Z06 high-performance package, much to the excitement of Corvette enthusiasts. Unlike previous Z06 models from the fifth and sixth generations, the new Z06 was available in both coupe and convertible forms, with the coupe featuring a removable roof panel thanks to the Corvette’s new, stronger aluminum frame.

Engineered for extreme performance, the Z06 was powered by a supercharged LT4 V-8 engine producing 650 HP and 650 lb-ft of torque. It also included the FE4 Magnetic Selective Ride Control system, as well as specialized wheels, tires, brakes, suspension, limited-slip differential, performance gear ratios, enhanced air vents, and custom front and rear fenders with a unique rear fascia.

For those craving even more power, Callaway introduced the SC757 package, which boosted the Z06’s 6.2-liter V8 from 650 HP to 757 HP and increased torque to 777 lb-ft. With these upgrades, the Corvette Z06 could achieve 0-62 mph in just 2.8 seconds and complete a quarter-mile in 10.5 seconds.
